EIt is well known to many players that the release of the new Star Wars video game was complicated, because it did not arrive fully optimized. With different performance issues (especially on PC) garnered wide-ranging reviews from many actors.
It is for this very reason that EA and Respawn were quick to let their followers know that they had already gotten to work improving their staging.. In fact, the development studio made a point of apologizing to the players for its erratic launch, promising that they would improve the game and that they were already fully involved in the next update.
And although the game still needs improvements, they were quick to include the first patch with which to solve some of these optimization problems. At least on PC, since the one on consoles will arrive a little later. So today, On May 1, the computer was released, while the SP5 and Xbox Series X | S arrive on May 2.
New Star Wars Jedi Survivor patch
The official patch note shared with EA indicates that the following improvements have been and/or will be made (consoles):
Parchment in PC
- Performance improvements for rendering without ray tracing.
Patch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
- Fixed various crashes on PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S and in various areas of the game.
- Fixed bugs related to skipping cutscenes.
- Performance improvements on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Fixed an issue with dynamic fabric inside the Mantis.
- Fixed various rendering issues.
- Fixed an issue that prevented saved Nekko colors from being saved.
- Fixed an issue where saved Nekko would disappear from the stable.
- Fixed a clipping issue in the cinematic dialog.
- Fixed various collision issues.
- Fixed an issue where enemy AI would stay in a T-pose during photo mode.
- Fixed occasional crash when chatting with Doma.
- Fixed a bug where BD-oil visual effects were not displaying correctly.
- Fixed an issue where players would get stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if they failed to save after leaving the chamber and dying.
