HBO revealed to the press the upcoming releases for this month of May, betting on a wide variety of genres, where a miniseries, an animated series and two original documentaries stand out on the platform.
Without a doubt, one of the most notable is the miniseries The White House Plumbers, a satirical drama about the Watergate scandal, starring Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux.
Will also be available the new Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Primal), Unicorn: Eternal Warriors, a supernatural animated series featuring a group of heroes resurrected to engage in battle against a great power across eternity. Other original European premieres that users will be able to enjoy are; Spy/master, on both sides of the abyss and German genius. As well as the premiere of the award-winning Spanish comedy I Don’t Like Driving.
But that’s not all, for documentary lovers, HBO presents two non-fiction stories, original to the platform; Angel City, a documentary series chronicling the history of Los Angeles’ first professional women’s soccer team. And Love to love you, Donna Summer, a documentary about singer Donna Summer’s career with never-before-seen material.
