Dewdrop is the seventh boss in Atomic Heart that players will encounter during Aftermath Academy.
With the latest biomechanical technology, Dewdrop is the most advanced robotic boss. Judging by his appearance, he looks like a mechanized octopus that has biopolymer in his veins instead of blood.
Dewdrop has a variety of attacks involving lasers and molten polymers that can deal a lot of damage. The only thing that can allow you to deal damage is the telekinesis ability, which can levitate this beast and ultimately create an attack window.
Dewdrop location
In Atomic Heart, you will encounter Dewdrop during the Consequence Academy chapter before the Twins fight. This final chapter will unfold once you start investigating Pavlov’s compound and head towards the lighthouse.
How to Beat Dewdrop in Atomic Heart
Before we get into Dewdrop’s combat, let’s first talk about his weaknesses and vulnerabilities to different weapons. As for weapons, the way to deal damage is to use a shotgun filled with electric rounds.
Another good way to deal massive damage is to use Mass Telekinesis to levitate Dewdrop and hit him with any charge attack.

First phase
Due to his tough exoskeleton, Dewdrop has a lot of stamina and can take many hits before taking damage.
During the fight, Dewdrop will roll across the battlefield and fire a laser at P-3 at the same time. Due to the rocking motion, you cannot predict where the laser will strike. The best way to avoid damage is to perform laser dodge moves as they occur.
Since the laser attack will deal massive damage to you, the best strategy in the first phase is to keep your distance. That said, you can also use a long-range weapon like the Dominator or Kalash to deal ranged damage.
To increase the output of damage, you can use the help of condensed milk. Between laser attacks, you’ll get a small attack window that Dewdrop rests in. Use Mass Telekinesis to levitate and hit him with charged attacks.
Second level
When Dewdrop’s health is nearly halved, the second phase of the fight begins. During this phase, Dewdrop will become a little more vulnerable to your attacks, but at the same time his attacks will also become quite strong.
Dewdrop will now attack by engaging liquid polymer from its tentacles. Meanwhile, his tentacles are also a good weak spot to aim for, as they’re soaked in liquid polymer.
During the second phase, the laser attack continues with the addition of polymer fireballs. You have to stay out of the kill zone between his two arms which he uses to crush you.
Just use Mass Telekinesis between attacks and hit him with an electric shotgun shell. Since Dewdrop’s health pool isn’t huge, you’ll beat him in no time.
To maximize the damage, you can use the help of a Railgun or Fat Boy. When using these weapons, make sure to dodge all incoming tentacle attacks. During this time, you can also use the whale in the arena as a shield against all incoming attacks while reloading or healing.
