The problem here therefore revolves around the key of Luis. Resident Evil 4 Redo. Technically, the event that kicks off your acquisition starts at the end of Chapter 11. However, when Chapter 12 of Resident Evil 4 starts when you actually get the key item and can encounter the problem. However, if someone takes an action at the start of Chapter 12 before seeing the on-screen notification that they have the Luis Key, they will not receive it. Capcom specifically mentioned the attack with the knife as the trigger for the issue.
Until the patch for Resident Evil 4 a new version comes out, the only way to fix this is to load a previous save. If you don’t have one before Chapter 12, that means a reset. If you don’t have the key, you won’t be able to access Luis’ lab in Chapter 15 and you’ll be locked out.
It is one of many Resident Evil 4 flaws in the remake that Capcom plans to fix with a patch. Another issue was with flickering lights in-game.
