Blizzard bragged about the popularity of the Diablo IV beta. The developers’ calculations show that more than one million players managed to reach character level 20.
It was to be expected that the Diablo 4 Early Access Beta would be very popular. Now is the time for some facts and stats, revealed courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment.
A sweetness for perseverance.
During the first round of testing, more than one million players reached character level 20 and thus received a nice cosmetic accessory, the Wolf Pack, as a gift..
Those who haven’t reached the aforementioned tier, or simply haven’t pre-ordered the game, will have a chance to get the cute sleeping wolf in the second round of testing, which runs from March 24-26.

Interestingly, for players in the United States who are still worried about not being able to reconcile the beta with national responsibilities, Blizzard has prepared a contest with a rather original prize. It’s a $200 gift card in the Thumbtack app. With it, US residents can hire a special team to take care of household chores while they have fun testing out Diablo 4 (via GamesRadar).
But back to the beta itself. The popularity of the upcoming action RPG’s first round of testing may show how many people have decided to pre-order Diablo IV. Even if we must not forget the “global” advertising campaign of the KFC chain, which probably also contributed to this result.
