Amid the intense heat wave that has plagued the region for weeks, in the past few hours dark clouds have begun to appear in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires (AMBA) that portends the possibility of rains that will come. could lower the temperature and bring relief to the population. According to the National Meteorological Service, in some areas of the province the waterfall has already begun to be registered and the appearance of strong storms is expected, as is the case of the districts of Buenos Aires de May 25, Alberti, Bragado, Chacabuco, Chivilcoy, General Viamonte and Junín.

This same situation is verified in the south of the district, in the towns of Balcarce, General Alvarado, Lobería and Tandil, where there is a warning for strong storms with heavy rains, gusts and occasional hail.

Rainfall will also be recorded in the afternoon of that day in the resorts of Mar del Plata, Miramar, Necochea, Villa Gesell, Pinamar, San Bernardo, Santa Teresita and most of the rest of the Atlantic coast. In these localities, the probability is between 40% and 70% probability.

Regarding the city of Buenos Aires, according to the SMN, the worst time will also be in the afternoon as isolated thunderstorms are expected with a probability of between 40% and 70%. The minimum temperature will be 26° degrees and the maximum 32°. The day will be a pivotal moment in the week since from today the temperature will drop.

The rains will continue throughout the day and will not stop until the night, although for only a few hours, since isolated rains of varying intensity are also expected for Thursday morning in the center of Buenos Aires, even if the Heat will persist, with lows of 24 and highs of 31 degrees.

Arriving on Friday, the weather will improve and the day will start with partly cloudy skies. A minimum temperature of 24° degrees and a maximum of 30° are expected. The winds will blow in a southerly and southeasterly direction with a speed between 7 and 22 kilometers per hour.

On Saturday, the first day of the weekend, the day will start with a minimum temperature of 23 degrees and a maximum of 26°C, so relief is already being felt after several days of intense heat. The sky will remain mostly cloudy and will gradually improve to partly cloudy. In turn, winds are expected from the southeast and east with a speed between 13 and 31 kilometers per hour.

Finally, Sunday will start with a minimum temperature of 20 degrees and a maximum of 28°C. The sky will remain similar to the previous day, changing from mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. The wind will blow in an easterly direction with a speed between 13 and 31 kilometers per hour.

For the moment, in the city of Buenos Aires, this Tuesday has been maintained red alert from the Meteorological Service for “very dangerous” extreme temperatures that “can affect all people, even those who are in good health”.
