Pascal, who in the meeting referred to the World Cup victory in Qatar, joins the long list of celebrities, such as Lionel Messi, Ricky Martin, Michael Bubble and Eva Longoria, among others, who support the film. The final verdict is not yet known, but Argentina, 1985 has a good chance of being the film that wins the third golden statuette, after The official story and The secret in their eyesand thus become the Latin American country with the highest number of awards given by the academy.
