A video of Minecraft has leaked on the web, showing a novelty that fans have been waiting for quite some time.
It seems like fans of Minecraft play Base editing you will get the long-awaited global editor. At least that’s what another leak related to this Toolbox mode indicates, showing an older version of the mode, coming to the game at some point.
The video was posted on Twitter by Roger Badgerman (@RogerBadgerman). the user recently reported also new vegetation that may be coming to Minecraft in the near future (via Reddit), and all of its leaks so far have turned out to be true. Some have even begun to suspect that Badgerman works at Mojang.
This post isn’t the first time we’ve heard of “toolbox mode”, aka “world editor”. Previously another user I met his trace in the game code, where he also found a graphic related to this novelty.

According to rumors, leaks and speculations that have been circulating for years, “World Editor” is supposed to be a new game mode where, true to its name, players will be able to easily change the look of the world, by adding blocks or change the world.
Similar tools have been around for a long time; the fans took care of it. Only some of them are for Bedrock Edition. Apparently, Mojang is preparing an official alternative.
Some fans believe that the “Toolbox mode” would only be available on PC (i.e. bypassing the bedrock editing on console) and it would even be a standalone game mode. This would be indicated, among other things, in a graph in the November leak with a clearly visible slider.
For now, however, this is just speculation and it’s possible that the “world editor” is coming to consoles as well. If it comes out at all, because so far Mojang Studios has not said a word about this novelty.
It is important to mention that Mojang has released the third “pre-release” of update 1.19.4. Few changes in the test version: the developers focused on fixing bugs with, among other things, dolphins going to the extreme (and improving the colors of the potions).

Passionate about video games (and others) for years, he completed an MBA in linguistics, defending a thesis on games. He started out with platform games, which he still loves (including metroidvania), but he also likes card games (including “analog” games), fighting games, soul games and practically any other kind of game. Don’t ask about the graphics: after a few hours of exposure, you can revel in pixelated game characters reminiscent of the days of the (if not older) Game Boy era.
