Fortnite players entering their Most Wanted event should anticipate that most opponents will be heading to their limited-time Cold Blooded vault locations. These areas are known to be filled with weapons of exotic rarity, a handful of healing supplies, and purchasable services. One of these services is the Rift service, and those who can afford it will be redeployed to the map and earn extra XP from a most wanted mission. Here’s how to buy Rift from a vault during the Fortnite Most Wanted event.
How to buy a Rift inside chests for the Fortnite Most Wanted event
First, it’s important to note that this cannot be done inside a Vault on the Battle Royale Island. Players must head to one of the heavily guarded locations in the Cold Blooded Vault, then loot an NPC’s keycard to unlock the vault. As shown below, you can experience an Intel computer from Ace that allows you to purchase one of three unique abilities and services, including the Rift service.

The service will cost you 350 gold bars, so be sure to open nearby Cold-Blooded Chests for a reward of 2,000 gold bars in total. Purchasing the rift will send you above the Cold Blooded Vault point of interest and you can redeploy your glider to move to another named location.

You’ll also complete a Most Wanted quest which rewards you with an additional 1,000 Infamy points for tracking event rewards. As this amount is not enough to reach your endpoint of 48,000 Infamy and collect the Gold Blooded Ace skin, those wishing to progress through the tracker have dozens of other most wanted quests to venture into, such as Increase your heat level and use a Telephone, public burner.
