To narrow down the wordlist, there are a few tricks you can try.
- Do not scroll through the list alphabetically. Although it’s tempting because there aren’t too many words on the list, you could lose valuable opportunities. Instead of starting with “Boiling” and continuing, jump to try “Basil” or “Caille” to see what hints you get.
- Eliminate words whose clues you know are false. For example, if you choose a word like “Spoil” and find that the word does not have an “S”, “P” or “O”, other words with those letters will not be correct. You can remove them from your list and further narrow the possibilities.
- Do not exclude words with duplicate letters. Although it may be a knee-jerk reaction, this list contains a few words with duplicate letters (two “L’s”). Being too quick to delete words like “Available” could kick you out of today’s Wordle. If you have enough tries, it’s not bad to try one of the duplicate words to see how it might turn out.
- Record your last two guesses to guess better. Go through the first four to get as many clues as possible, then narrow down the possibilities based on the information.
With the word list and these tips, you should be able to find today’s Wordle and continue your streak.
