the very popular Disney Valley of Dreams Lamp today received its third major update to Xbox Game Pass to date, bringing a host of new content and features to the game as part of the “Festival of Friendship”.
This update introduces the characters Olaf (from Frozen) and Mirabel (from Charming) to the game, while also bringing a blizzard to Frosted Heights as part of the main story, adding a new Star Path celebrating the 100th anniversary from Disney, and in particular, the introduction of a Premium Store ahead of DDV’s free launch later this year.

- “Oblivion” The main story continues: A blizzard is brewing in Frosted Heights!

- Take your reindeer outside and change the look of your fully renovated home with newly added house colors or acquire premium house skins from the Premium Shop.

Premium Store content is separate from Scrooge McDuck’s General Store (which will also have content added regularly). - With the arrival of the Premium Shop, we have adjusted the Daily Moonstone Chests to increase the amount of moonstones they grant each day. They will now grant 50 Moonstone (previously 10).
- Scrooge McDuck General Store got a boatload of new products! Do you have Star Coins from your recent Pumpkin Puff run burning a hole in your pocket? Keep an eye out for new clothes and furniture in your inventory.
- We’ve seen some of your storage rooms and we’re both in awe and awe. Chests crafted at crafting stations now come in three different varieties, offering larger storage capacities.
- While we appreciate the creative way you’ve organized your chest treasures, we’ve added something to help. Arts and crafts customizable panels to help you remember what’s in a specific chest or mark your favorite fishing spot.
- Refrigerators now…refrigerator (well, minus the cooling). Furniture classified as storage, such as refrigerators and cabinets, act as a basic storage chest.
- To top off storage-palooza, we’ve added quality-of-life features that let you automatically sort your articlesas well as quickly transfer items between your inventory and storage with smart transfer.
- Bring that reindeer back inside! You can now change the look of doors inside your home based on those you have collected, as well as adjust your position.
- We’ve improved wallpaper handling to add more variety to your home. now you can adjust wallpaper wall by wall instead of selecting one style for the whole room.
- Develop new training manuals change the roles of your villagers. Whether you’re maximizing your gardening potential or giving Goofy a new hobby, you don’t have to feel trapped by your past decision.
- La Vallée is more talkative… Don’t worry, we’re not adding to Donald’s tantrums. All characters won additional daily discussion topics.
Major bug fixes and improvements
- Kristoff’s post has received a slight overhaul. In previous updates, we’ve made a few changes to his stall, with the goal of striking a balance between making the shop more interesting and engaging (e.g. adding iron ingots) and ensuring that collecting rare materials is n is not trivial (for example, adding a calendar). limit). We’re listening to your feedback, especially on the shift to carbon, and we’re continuing to iterate. As a result, we tweaked the settings slightly and brought back something you liked. - The New Game button has been moved to the settings menu and is now called Reset Game.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from navigating the menu while cooking.
- “Remembering the Good Old Days” quest: Players should no longer have trouble taking the photo needed to progress in this quest.
- Stitch’s Hobby Quest: The TV for this quest should no longer interfere with progress or disappear from the player’s inventory.
- Trash Clearing Missions: Clearing Trash Heaps in Goofy’s and Merlin’s Houses should now allow for successful progression in these missions.
- “A Deal with Ursula” Quest – Upon further investigation of this quest, issues with placement of crystals on pedestals should be resolved.
- “The Final Test” Quest: Players should now be able to collect falling water to progress in this quest.
- “How far will you go” quest: The game should no longer crash when you start a conversation with Moana to give her a fish.
- “Magic Moments” Quest – Reduced the requirement for the Sushi quest to resolve an issue some players were experiencing.
- “How We Feel At Home” Quest – A new hotfix has been implemented to help resolve the annoying Glowing Herring bug. We will be monitoring this issue closely in conjunction with the release of the update, as we know this quest has been tricky for some players.
- “The Definition of a Hero” Quest – Crafting the Asphalt and Balloon Arch should now progress through the quest as intended.
- “With Great Power” Quest: The Crystal Key should no longer disappear or duplicate for players who progress through this quest.
- “The Ceremony” Mission: Players should now be able to take the final photo without getting stuck on the photo screen.
- Mission “Reputation of a Space Ranger”: Buzz Lightyear and Ursula should now talk to each other, which would trigger the next step of the mission.
- Fixed an issue that caused some players’ games to get stuck when upgrading their avatar or villager, especially after talking to them.
- Fixed an issue where villager houses would disappear and could not be picked up.
- The crafting menu should now work more reliably as an issue causing movement to become disabled after selecting an item and switching tabs has been resolved.
- Improved ground material spawning in some biomes.
- The mailbox will no longer show duplicates of received mail.
- You can now buy those pesky candles at the Scrooge McDuck General Store!
