The Battle.net app is your one-stop-shop for playing all Blizzard PC versions such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2 and the Diablo series, and accessing great Activision games like the latest Call of Duty. It even now extends to console games, with cross-play directly linked to your Battle.net account. Unfortunately, like any other launcher or service, it may have issues that prevent you from playing your favorite games. This is the place to go to check the status of the Blizzard Battle.net server.

Where to go to check Battle.net server status

Since February 15, Battle.net has been experiencing issues with the Battle.net Launcher connecting slowly or failing. This is shortly after the launch of Season 2 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, so the issues are likely related. For updates, you can follow the Blizzard Customer Support tweet thread below.

If you are having trouble connecting to Battle.net servers, you should first check the Blizzard Customer Service Twitter Page. The social team here is really good at keeping people informed when the service crashes or other issues are detected. They’re also pretty good at answering you directly in their answer section if you have a problem and need a quick comment.

Additionally, Downdetector has a page dedicated to displaying reports from people that Battle.net is giving them trouble. You can see the timeline of when these issues first started being reported. You can also add to the conversation here.

If you don’t see reports that the Battle.net server status is down, we recommend exiting the game or launcher completely first. Restart and check your internet router and consider restarting your system. If none of this seems to work, consider contacting Blizzard Support directly to find out what’s stopping you from playing.
