With Monreal, but without Osorio Chong: meeting Alito Moreno in the Senate

National President of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI)alexander Alito Moreno Cárdenas, met in the Senate of the Republic the coordinator of the parliamentary group of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), Ricardo Montreal Ávila, and that of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM), Manuel Velasco.

However, the absence of Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, coordinator of the tricolors in the Upper House, in front of which he asked the press not to create or go towards “suspicions” and recalled that his relationship is one of coordination; on the other hand, he explained that he had come to the Paseo de la Reforma compound to hold a bilateral meeting with the President of the Political Coordination Council (Jucopo), although other legislators were present.

“There is no need to go to suspicions, I came here because I could have any appointment with any parliamentarian (…) listen, I would tell you, the coordinator (Osorio Chong) is not here, I think he has maybe a diary. We have a coordinating relationship. (With Monreal) it was a bilateral meeting that we had, institutionally, as he is the coordinator of the parliamentary group in the Senate of the Republic, not only does he have our consideration, we are working as you well know, in recent days we we had meetings to have a faster, more agile operation at the start of this period and well, that allows us to have communication, ”explained the former governor of Campeche in response to doubts from the press.

He also pointed out that he had spoken with Monreal about “important issues” with which they hope to promote the democratic regime of the country. He also expressed that the meetings are held continuously, even if there is no common agenda, because from his point of view, said activity helps and strengthens democratic dialogue.

“As party leader, I came to have a meeting, as it is, for dialogue, for the construction of agreements and consensus, indeed you have good information, Senator Monreal was there and Senator Velasco was there and, well, we tackled the issues to always think of the best for Mexico”

In addition to the above, he reiterated that Its goal is to deliver good results to citizensConsequently, it could hold more meetings, since at the Congress of the Union the question of the magistracies will be analyzed soon, as well as the electoral questions; however, he said his commitment is to support the autonomy of the National Electoral Institute (INE) and the Electoral Court of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF).

Another of the questions that the national president of the PRI had to answer was the reason for his approach to Velasco Coello, after last year the two they made a scandal derived from an alleged audio presented by the governor of Campeche in the Jaguar Tuesday.

Before that, although he did not delve into the subject, the politician from Campeche indicated that he will always have a good relationship with the former president of Chiapas, since it must be remembered that the senator and his wife Anahí were godparents at the baptism of the youngest son of Moreno Cárdenas.
